Vertical Villages is a paradigm shifting initiative which brings the church in contact with civic leaders, property developers and the general community in a bid to create residential spaces that are conducive to strong community. In the rapidly urbanising and multicultural area of Ryde in Sydney, this is an urgent task and an opportunity for the church. Vertical Villages also hopes to place christians in these housing estates as "professional neighbours" to facilitate community and live out the gospel.
